Цели:

1. Образовательная: расширение кругозора учащихся, знакомство c современной английской поэзией на тему «Дружба»; с творчеством американской певицы Mariah Carey.

2. Воспитательная: воспитание и формирование дружеских отношений в ученическом коллективе, воздействие на эмоциональную и духовную сферу учащихся посредством музыки и поэзии на английском языке.

3. Развивающая: развитие личностных качеств учащихся, их ценностных ориентаций; развитие памяти и мышления на английском языке.

Задачи:

1. Активизация изученной лексики по теме «Дружба»;

2. Аудирование песни «Друг» (в исполнении Mariah Carey).

Оснащение: компьютер, проектор, экран, магнитофон, CD диск с песней «Дружба» (Mariah Carey).

Ход урока:

1. Teacher: Good morning, dear pupils! How are you?

Pupils: Fine, thanks. And how are you?

Teacher: I’m alright, thanks. You know, yesterday I got into trouble… (You may tell pupils an interesting situation from your life to involve them into discussion) …I’m so happy to have a real friend! Do you have a real friend? Is she (he) your classmate? What is a real friend like?

(Pupils name some characteristics of a good friend)

Teacher: Let us match the English words and their meanings:

Amiable, communicable, fair, faithful, straightforward, frank, honest, just, merciful, sincere, sympathetic, reliable, open, outspoken, trustful, trusting, sociable, ingenuous, affectionate, gentle, tender, flexible, mild, genial, humane, good-natured, kind, friendly, noble.
