Данный блок представляет собой уроки, рекомендуемые для работы со старшеклассниками.

Цели уроков: работа над тематической лексикой, для расширения активного словарного запаса учащихся, для последующего использования в разных режимах и ситуациях. Развитие спонтанного вариативного владения речью.

Урок 1

В качестве домашнего задания учащимся к уроку предлагается составить (устно) вопросы их сверстнику – выпускнику школы о выборе будущей профессии и письменно предложить слова и выражения, которые необходимо знать для работы по данной теме.

Объявление темы и задач урока; обсуждение с учащимся степени важности этой темы.

Для фонетической зарядки и начала разговора о будущих профессиях используется видео – песня о различных видах занятий людей – фрагмент видео-курса «Семейный альбом США» “Family Album the USA”.

Учащимся предлагается продолжить список профессий со своими комментариями:

Завершающий момент работы над тематической лексикой - вопросы, подготовленные дома, которые задаются по цепочке одноклассникам:

Who can help you make the right choice?

What options do the school-leavers have for the future?

Is there anyone to encourage you?

Whose advice will you follow?

Which is the most prestigious profession in our country?

Will you choose a profession which is boring but well- paid or which is interesting but with a meager salary? etc.

Учащимся предложено сделать заключение, подводя итог урока :

The last years at school is the time of making decisions about lots of things and choosing a future profession is one of the most important.

The majority of us know what they want to do after leaving school, but some are still on deciding. I think it’s high time we had a plan how to get ready for the future.

I am afraid of the talks about the future as they make me nervous. I will think of all that when I get the results of the school final examinations.

We are supposed to have a clear idea about our future and use advice of the teachers and parents, as they are wiser and have a lot of life experience. Etc.

When school students are about to leave school, they have to choose their future profession. It’s a very important time for both the school-leavers and their parents.

When I was a child I wanted to become a … . Then I changed my mind and dreamed to be a …….. .

Now I have strong intentions to enter the … University. I’d like to be a … . I can’t say it has been my life-long dream, but I am really interested in this occupation. I find it prestigious. I am eager to take up this profession, because it has good prospects. There is another reason why I want to take it up. This profession runs in my family.

I try to get ready for the entrance examinations. I attend preparatory courses at the University, take some school optional classes in … and read a lot.

Урок 6

Деловая игра.

Цель игры: обобщение темы «Профессии и трудоустройство».

развитие навыков работы в группах, практика использования

тематической лексики и разговорных структур в процессе

обсуждения.

Учащиеся работают в группах по 3 человека. У каждой группы стопка карточек с заданиями по ходу игры.

Вводная установка:

Вы были сокращены на работе из-за введения новых технологий.

Что вы собираетесь делать?

Далее предлагаются варианты, из которых выбирается один в ходе обсуждения группы.

Учащиеся читают задание, обсуждают варианты и делают выбор.

Группа сообщает учителю о своем решении, приводя причины выбора.

Получив одобрение учителя (Good luck to you! You are doing very well!

Take care! Keep on working. etc) они могут продолжить игру.

Получить высший балл в игре может группа, которая заканчивает игру с благополучным результатом - материальная обеспеченность в результате мудрых деловых решений.

По завершении игры учащиеся делают комментарии:

а\ как складывались их отношения в процессе работы (были ли споры, был ли лидер в группе, кто брал на себя роль лидера)

б\ понравилась ли игра, почему.

Домашнее задание: просмотреть все карточки к игре, дать краткое

описание игры с анализом, почему потерпели

неудачу или как добились успеха.
